Data protection notice

We keep data use to a minimum. This notice covers what Tradesmen Jobs London collects and why, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Updated: 15 October 2026.

The data controller

Tradesmen Jobs London is a trading name of Web Designer Limited (company number 15002899, registered in England & Wales; registered office: 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST). That company decides how and why your personal data is used, so it is the data controller. You can write to us at 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST (our registered office), or use the enquiry form and mention “privacy” so your message reaches the right person.

What we collect

Please do not send special category data, such as health information, through our forms.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process enquiry details so that we can respond, quote or book a survey. If an independent tradesperson is better placed to price the job, we pass on just enough for them to get in touch about it. UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (pre-contract steps you ask for) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in dealing with enquiries and running the business) are our lawful bases. We never sell personal data or use it to market to you.

Sharing your information

We share personal data with a small number of recipients: FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards enquiries to us as our processor and may process them outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires; Cloudflare, which hosts this site; the independent tradesperson quoting for your job; and anyone we must share it with by law.

Cookies on this site

We have chosen not to use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on tradesmenjobs.com.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Rights you have

You can ask to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Contact us as described above and we will respond within one month.

Raising a concern

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
